alongside a lifetime of martial arts practice as a 7th-degree Kung Fu Master, and Tai chi, with a foundational background as a former special education educator my approach goes beyond standard therapy.

Yes, it is completely safe, gentle, and highly effective. In fact, children and teens are often the best candidates for hypnotherapy because their imaginations are vibrant and their subconscious minds are incredibly adaptable. Drawing from my extensive background in Special Education, every youth session is tailored strictly to their developmental level, ensuring they feel entirely safe, supported, and respected throughout the entire process.

Generally, children ages 7 and up get the most out of our structured sessions. At this age, they can follow along with stories, mental imagery, and relaxation exercises. For teenagers, the approach shifts to match their growing need for independence, focusing heavily on quieting school anxiety, building self-esteem, and mastering their emotional responses.

Not at all. One of the greatest benefits of my approach is that it bypasses the need for endless, uncomfortable talk therapy. Your child won't be forced to dissect old traumas or replay stressful events if they don't want to. Instead, we work with the brain's natural hardwiring to release physical tension (somatic relief) and gently update how their subconscious handles stress, allowing them to heal without feeling interrogated.

For the initial consultation and the first part of our setup, absolutely! We want everyone to feel comfortable. However, for the actual subconscious rewiring portion, children and teenagers typically achieve much deeper focus and better results when they have a private, dedicated space to open up without worrying about their parent's immediate reactions. We will establish a plan together during our first meeting that makes both you and your child feel completely secure.
